From a clinical perspective, using iSirona couldn't be easier. Here's how it works:

1. Identify the patient within MedSeries4 or Soarian.

Clinician navigates to the appropriate patient record within the Siemens system.

2. Associate the device to the patient.

Using the iSirona tab within MedSeries4 or Soarian, the clinician associates the correct medical device to the intended patient and can easily see which devices are in use.

3. Validate the data.

Using iSirona’s clinical documentation solution, DataAuthenticator, data from the selected device is reviewed and authenticated before being stored permanently in the MedSeries4 or Soarian patient record.

Hospitals that use MedSeries4 or Soarian don’t have the benefit of a built-in flowsheet for authenticating data prior to committing it to the patient record. iSirona solves this challenge with DataAuthenticator, which provides Siemens clients with an important final step prior to delivering data to the EMR. Intended for use by clinicians to review device data, DataAuthenticator allows clinicians to modify a parameter selection and add clinical notes to a selected parameter.
